  • Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga will not be traveling with the team to India on Tuesday night
  • Maheesh Theekshana is expected to join the team after a week once he fully recovers from his injury
  • “It’s highly unlikly” Wanindu Hasaranga will be able to play in the World Cup recovering from his injury
  • Selectors are discussing whether to replace Wanindu with Chamika Karunaratne or Dushan Hemantha.
  • Similar to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh have also not yet named the squad, but they will be leaving for India on Wednesday.
